Gotta love old trucks. Replaced front wheel bearings on 63 F100 4x4 and then found previous owner had welded the leaf spring together..

Tire shop was a fiasco, but all's well that ends well. They were overworked and underpaid. Pic's of new BFG's are up. Feelin reliable again.

Road Trip postponed. Major setbacks so car did not meet my deadline. Had to change Vacation plans. VERY VERY disapointed. Next spring maybe stay with Rout 66 or maybe change to Power Tour. TUG A TRUCK TUG-A-TRUCK
How many here have seen this event? A few years ago my son asked me to take him to one of these events here in Ohio. At first I thought it was cool, then he wanted to participate. Before you know it he was breaking his truck and coming home with all kinds of stories, of course NONE of them were what REALLY happened. For about two years he drove me crazy because this was his daily driver that he was hooking to other trucks. Widening Frame rails and making custom quick release trailer hitch. Ok, I have decided on setting the fuel tank in the original trunk location so I can still fill the car from the outside and have a trunk since I wont have a back seat. Starting next week i'll be cutting my already welded rear frame rails to widen them to accomadate at least a 16 gallon tank.
