I am 38 living up in Alaska for 7 years. I am from Newport News VA. I have been working on cars and trucks since I was 10 with my dad. I picked up a 1976 GMC crew cab dually for $200. I stripped it down to the frame. Now I am putting a 1975 Peterbilt cab and hood on that frame. Then I am going to put a big 454 in it. I am going to stretch the frame 3 feet so I can put a sleeper on it too. So the kids can ride with the wife and I to car and truck shows. But I am a long way off for it to hit the road. I have 6 months that I can work on it. Then the snow comes. I don't have a shop that I can work on it in. So I got to work on it outside. My kids help me time to time and my wife helps me as well when I need help. But most of all I have been doing it by myself, it has been fun doing it too. I get help from my cousin Nate back home in Newport News VA, I call him anytime I am stuck with something and we bounce different ideas off one another until I figure out just what to do.
