We don't have a 220 outlet in the garage. So we run an extension cord out the back door, onto the deck, in the house to outlet for the oven.

Stripes for the TA Alright I got the stripes from my wife for Christmas, and I figured Father's Day weekend was a good excuse to get out in the garage and get those bad boys on. First the naked red head ;) Then the in work shot.... Finally, we see the girl with the front stripes. Oh yeah, now that is what I am talking about :-D Here is the White TA (before I went wild with the racing stickers ;) And the back of the red TA The Final touches is the Pontiac on the rear and the Trans Am on the door!!!!! Ok one more... The Girls together ;) read more49 weeks ago | 159 views, 9 comments |

Sand Blast City!!! Ok I had to add the before pic, pretty rusty... Wow, Thank God that a friend of mine had a sand blaster to use on the rear subframe of the Talon. Check the sand blast pic. That is on a black top padio. After 150 lbs of sand we have a good start!!! The second pic is after putting on the etching primer. Next step is some black epoxy. It should be sweet when we are done!!! Ok, I updated this blog with a pic of the epoxy. It is only 1/2 done, but I think it is turning out good. All I have to do is flip it over and hit the other side. Then it is time to put it on the Talon! :-D read more1 year ago | 140 views, 9 comments |

Boring... Yawn ;) Well you can see in the before that #2 cylinder has extra metal from the piston meltdown Doh!!!! The next pic is Alex boring it out 20 over at school. Must be nice to have that machine at school…. Finally you see that we will need to sleeve the number 2 cylinder as there is still damage to the wall of the cylinder :(. Of course, that will be the one cylinder we won’t blow when we are done!!!! read more1 year ago | 135 views, 8 comments |

Victory is Ours!!! Alright we finaly pulled the engine... Yaaaa!!!! See the victory pic! We wrestled the thing onto the engine stand and started pulling it apart.... First piston to pull was #2, and man there was a Thermo Nuclear Meltdown in that cylinder see the pic, and then look a second time... WOW!!!! So you can see the empty engine bay with the remains of all the vacuum spaghetti all over still... Finally, you can see the engine wrapped and ready to go to the machine shop at Ranken!!! Oh Yeah!!! read more1 year ago | 76 views, 3 comments |
