He had been riding his Mustang bike, a normal activity for a nine-year-old boy back then . It was no ordinary Comet. It featured the new K code 289-V8 engine that produced 271 hp. In 1964 this was a fairly raunchy engine. Eight years later, in 1974 Grant bought that very same 1964 Comet.
