56 Ford F-100 Finally !!! Something good has come from not having money!!! Was prepairing to buy the mono's for the front suspension $423! Just for kicks I got under the truck with a tape measure... I thought oh crap!!! A 5 inch drop is too much!!! I found that I only have 5 inches between the axle and the oilpan !!! So thank God for "just for kicks! " So I will go with the 3" drop mono's. 56 Ford F-100 Just started bodywork on the frontend. Had to stop cab rust repair do to lack of money. Did manage to install the DVD touchscreen in the dash. Changed all the stock black knobs to chrome. Plus I cut out the ashtray and smoothed the dash a little. It was in the way. Just in case anyone noticed, I didn't go with the chrome mono's. The lady I talked to at Midfifty, said I wouldn't like them because they"ve been known to chip and crack real bad under normal driving conditions.
