My daughter has now passed auto class. only missed one question in her final!!! good for her.

I have also built a 20' deck tilt trailer for the Duramax Avalanche to tow. I have repaired a few trailers but this is my first built from scratch.

and bringing home the next project

I built the same design years ago for my JD tractor still got it and works great. much smaller of course but the same principle. Not much to them -a frame with in a frame with a strong pivet point. Great job!! Paint looks great too. Double tandoms with leefs? what type of brakes ?Does it have a winch?

ya its on leaf springs. The 2 axils were $100 used, so that became the starting place. I plan on changing the hubs to 6-lug, to up the capacity but its fine for now. Electric brakes on all 4 wheels with breakaway system. I have a reciver front dead center so I can drop my 9k winch in when I need it and keep it safe when the trailer is sitting around. Also has an on board battery to run the hydrolic tilt/winch. also have 2guage battery power run to the back of the truck for power/charging. I went with the duel fenders to have a tie down were I always seemed to need one on other trailers.

That is a sharp trailer. and congrats on your daughter doing so well in auto shop. Hope she dosent charge you too much for workin on your cars nowSmile
