Harbor Freight with a 20% discount coupon. Looked at one last year. Compressor can be left below reel. Hooked up with disconnects, so it can still be moved to where you are working.

Tha 31

Well living here in the rust belt, we build stuff that others would pass on as a parts car, that was the case with my 31 that i finally got after looking for a Model A for years. When I finally found it, i took my then 12 year old daughter with me to talk to the guy about buying it. That  was the beginning of my journey. We finally got the body home and after tearing into it, as usually is the case, it was far worse than we thought. After looking around, we found a Tudor Sedan back half 500 miles from us so we made a road trip to get it.

NASCAR Nitpicking. Ideas to make the Sprint Cup more...'interesting'

So the NASCAR season is upon us, but I don't really find myself in the spirit of the series like I used to. I'm not really certain for all my reasoning, personally but I can be certain about one thing; part of it has to do with the cars.

Close Call

These three photos shows what looks normal, but could lead to disaster. Got real lucky here, picking up a faint smell and the clothes weren't drying well. This is a dryer cord. It hangs from near the top of the dryer and box is mount close to the floor. The metal mount is held to wall by three screws. Through the sheet rock and into a stud. The dryer vibrates and that shakes the cord. Over the years the screws started to pull out. The top screw fell on one prong and caused a short. The screws might have been to short and may have been supplied with outlet.
